This recipe came off the stove well tonight:
Start out with a few mid-sized to large boletus edulis
Two ounces of olive oil in a fry pan and begin heating to saute
Slice the specimen to get good top to bottom pieces less than 1/4 inch thick
Lightly salt if you're not afraid of it
When the oil's hot lay the segments in the hot oil, be sure it's sizzling a little
Watch for them to turn color as they saturate with the oil
When they've sizzled a few minutes, 2-4 minutes, turn them to brown the other side
When side two is lightly browned add a small spot of your favorite italian dressing or hot sauce
Saute and serve it hot just as the dressing splatters off
repeat until all the Kings are gone
