Suitable IDE for kplaylist languge & template definitions ??

Im having some real trouble modding the language and html template sections of this script. Its a hard to match up the language reference say $english[234] to its definition in an array with hundreds of elements locating the 234th ...
also with the html templates because each html block is already inside a ' ' quotation to set it as a string to say $kdesign['infobox'] = '<html>' it gets hard when writing javascript within here that maybe within a onclick attribute, as you are inside a ' ' already, so you have to escape your ' comma usage to use them to specify your java script within the onclick=" " but then if you want to do a js href window.location in there that is in quotes afaik you are stuffed.
