Welcome 2026!
KPI is looking forward to this new year. We are planning many opportunities to learn about Permaculutre around the great State of Kansas. Check out the website for these great training sessions. Additional classes will be added throughout the year. Please share these with your friends who may be looking to learn. We are interested in getting the word out to like-minded folks.
The Annual Meeting is right around the corner, in Lawrence, KS. We hope to see you there. Use the provided link to sign up if you are planning to attend.

Potluck Meal
This year, as we have done in the past, we will have a potluck meal. Please bring something to share with the community. Please bring your own table settings to help reduce our environmental impact.
Meeting
There will be a meeting to discuss what was accomplished in 2025 and what is in store for 2026.
There will be an election of new board members. If you are interested in joining the Board of Directors, or supporting us in other ways, please let us know. You will need to be a KPI Member with up to date membership to be elected to the Board. If your membership has expired, you can renew it at the meeting.
Posters
There will be a poster session to share what you are doing on your site. (see attached example) This can be a single or tri-fold poster display. If you have an easel please bring it to hold your poster. There will be table space to place your poster if you do not have an easel. There will also be posters displayed from the last KU Student PDC class. During the meeting there will be time set aside for viewing the posters. During that time, we ask that you stand by your poster in case there are questions on your poster.
Education + Workshop
There will be a panel discussion on the backyard growing of Mushrooms and a hands on workshop at the end of the meeting.
A big thanks to the current Board of Directors and the Education Team for all the great work done this past year.
