Lawrence Fruit Tree Project coordinator Skyler Adamson will teach a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to air layer fruit trees! What is air layering? It’s a propagation technique where a branch of a tree is coaxed into forming roots mid branch, thus creating a whole new tree! In this workshop participants will learn to air layer figs, mulberries, pomegranates, goumi and other fruit bearing plants in the orchard.
