Hey there!

We have been working hard on a NEW program to help educate our community about how to use native plants to increase habitat, reduce weeding, reduce additional watering, and decrease the use of herbicides.

We have several planting sites in Hyde Park in Kansas City, Missouri where we will show you the ropes and get you up to speed to help supervise volunteers as they identify our intentional, native plants; remove invasive species; and work to improve the soil in these areas.

Sign up to steward a Saturday workday, now through October, and we'll make it worth your while. We'll teach you about native plants, and your volunteer labor will help us maintain these current plantings. Sign up to steward three or more Saturdays, and you can use those hours toward completion of the Maintenance category in a NEW certification in native plant expertise. More details to follow.

Not ready to be a steward but want to volunteer to help? Use Sign up for a Saturday workday as a volunteer. No experience needed!

Here's the link:

Want to help but can't make it on Saturdays? We're flexible! Reply to let us know what day/time you are available, and we will work with you to make it happen.

Questions? Reply, text, or call me.

Thanks for reading!
