Hi all,
I called the instructor for maintenance - not Vince - her name was ...
I can't remember!! Geez. But she was doing a class at Otay Mesa. She
told me that they rarely have classes down there and there isn't a
future class even scheduled there. So now I need to call Cornelia
again and find out when the classes are and see if there is one that I
can get to. I am going to have a hard time getting to one during the
week I think. I wonder if they have any on Saturday. Do you guys know?
How are you all doing? I am still maintaining my weight at about 182.
Feeling good! Some of my new clothes (size 14 mostly) are feeling
loose. I am eating really healthy about 90% of the time. So when I do
have a treat like ice cream or a cupcake, it really is a treat. I
don't feel deprived or anything. I have been following a lot of the
principles in the Eat Clean Diet book - thanks again, Amanda, for
recommending it!!
I haven't been exercising. But I am very active at work. Oh well...
So I mentioned that I had a gall bladder attack. I had to have an
ultrasound done, and then I met with a surgeon last week. He asked me
when I would like to have my gall bladder removed. I said umm I'd like
to think about it. I've only had one attack. But he said that they
prefer to do the surgery electively when there are no problems because
if I wait until there is another attack there could be complications.
I just don't know. What a pain!! Any of you have any experience with
that?
Monica, you can't beat yourself up. Optifast is a seriously hard
program. Focus more on how you are feeling and how YOU want to feel.
You can't look at numbers. You need to be happy with yourself. That
should be your goal. We love you! :-)
Hope you are all doing great. It's rough being back at work! My
daughter Diana is doing great with her preschool/daycare, so at least
that's good.
Take care!
Mary
