Zoom is a cloud-based platform for video and audio conferencing, mobile collaboration, and simple online meetings. Zoom's web-based conferencing uses high-quality video and audio and is accessible on MacOS, Windows, iOS and Android mobile devices. Anyone in the world can join a Zoom meeting, but only a host can start/create meetings.

My whole company uses Zoom. There are so many ways to join a Zoom meeting, this flexibility has meant that it is very easy to join the wrong meeting without any indication that you have done.
The amount of times I have heard of someone joining the wrong meeting by mistake and not knowing it is amazing.

You can join an online meeting through an email invite, an instant messaging invite, from the browser, from the Zoom desktop and mobile application, from a landline or mobile phone, or with an H.323 or SIP device.

If you are online with the Zoom desktop client or mobile app, contacts can invite you to the live meeting directly. You will receive an incoming message notification, displaying who is inviting you to the meeting, along with a ringtone. Select Accept to join the meeting with the person who is calling you.

Note: If you have already joined the meeting by computer, you will have the option to enter your 6-digit participant ID to be associated with your computer. If you have not joined on your computer, simply press # again when prompted to enter in your participant ID.

Just got off a meeting and received the AI summary... in Japanese when we were all speaking English. I have no idea how to change it to English or why it was in Japanese in the first place. How to ensure the summary stays in English?

Hi folks did you find a solution for this? Just had a call that was fully in English, when the meeting AI notes came it it was in Filipino (local language in Philippines). How do we set it to use English? (which is also one of our official languages)

Is there a definitive answer on how to stop this and to be able to set the transcription language, setting at a global level would be ideal.

Same issue has occurred on several occasions.
Meeting is in english, participants in India. AI summary is in English, or Hindi or Tamil (Regional local language). My settings are all english. No one touched any CC.
