Salamat Datang! This group was set up for discussions and to aid in the planning of a reunion for volunteers and others who lived in the Kota Bharu area, Malaysia in the mid 70's. Another title for the group might be "Friends of Nick and Jane".

Note: Google Groups had removed the ability to create files and pages in their Groups application, so I have created a website so that we can continue to share files and pages and links and such.

This Google Group site may still be useful for group discussions.

The way this works: when you join the group, you can post messages. Whenever someone posts a message, you will receive the message in your email, unless you have set your profile to not receive email. It seems to be a great tool for group discussions. Why is this better than an email thread?

When others join the group, they can "catch up" by reading past discussions.
Figuring out and keeping up with a long list of email accounts to "copy to" can get difficult to manage.
Individuals can decide how they want to stay informed: email each message, email once a day, or no email.
You don't have to log on to post messages. Just email or "copy to" kotabharucrew@googlegroups.com. Your email subject will be the name of the Discussion.
Individuals have the ability to unsubscribe whenever they like.

To join this group, you must convince me that I knew you, or should have known you when I lived in Kota Bharu in 1973-1975.

To get email addresses from the Members section, click on the area in the middle of the address, and you can eventually get the real address. They make it difficult so web crawlers can't obtain email addresses.
