IMNSHO, groups.io is vastly superior to Google Groups. It is run by
someone who actually knows what they're doing when it comes to mailing
lists and has a fast and uncluttered interface, while still providing
every shiny newfangled feature you could want.

starting over sounds like a good idea, actually, not for UI reasons alone (for wihch I do not care much): newcomers to this list might be put off by the tone of some of the older history/threads here which are exclusively ksh2020 related and have nothing to do with you and your initiative. so I second your proposal

Sounds fine to me, as long as I can use email to follow along.
