Hi friends,

Quick timing note: this release went live April 30 — I’m only sending this email today (May 2). Thanks for your patience.

Headline feature — menus for tables and easy sharing

Restaurants now have a QR code for their menu — perfect to print and leave on tables, or share in one tap.

They also get a link to the full menu for that restaurant.

For each dish / item, you can share a direct link to that item alone.

This is a big upgrade for how menus travel in the real world (WhatsApp, Instagram, in the dining room, etc.).

A small ask: if you know restaurant owners or people who work with them, please tell them — and feel free to forward this email. Your word of mouth really moves things for us.

Other updates (April 30, 2026)

  • Text input: Better support across the app (more characters, ligatures, and symbols like ® and ™), with clearer length validation.
  • Cart & sign-in: Smoother cart experience and authentication flow.
  • Location & admin: Refined location picker UX; fixes for admin user-search count issues.
  • Overall: General quality, stability, and performance improvements.

Testing (light, as usual)

No heavy QA needed — just use the app normally. If something looks off, I’m grateful for a note at con...@koolodoor.com.

Links

Android — important for now: access to the app on Play is still tied to our tester setup. You need to join the beta group first before you can download/install:
https://groups.google.com/g/koolodoor-beta-testers
(Group email: koolodoor-b...@googlegroups.com — anyone can join or leave at will.)

If you know an owner who might benefit, sending them that playlist is a great nudge.

Huge thanks again — your feedback directly shapes every release.

Warmly,
Fouad
