Automate The Creation/Transformation of Infrastructure as Code Artifacts with Konveyor Move2Kube meetup.
The Move2Kube team, from our community, demonstrated the new capabilities included in the Konveyor Move2Kube v0.3.0 release.
Out of box, Move2Kube creates infrastructure as code artifacts such as Dockerfiles, Kubernetes Yamls, Helm Charts, CI/CD artifacts etc tailor made for your application. With Move2Kube v0.3.0, it now is capable of creating those artifacts exactly as per the organization requirements.
You now have the ability to change almost every aspect of the output generated by Move2Kube, right from the "base image in your Dockerfile" to "placing generated files in a directory structure of your preference" to "parameterizing specific fields in your helm charts". Its built-in data extraction capabilities also got a boost. For example, it now helps you choose the springboot profiles, maven profiles, java version and server when containerising your java application.
