Building for Termux on Android

Hello everyone!

I'm very new to the world of K, Kona, and the APL family more generally. I'm looking for a language that would be convenient to work in on my phone. The APL family seems to be a good fit because the low character count of programs seems like it would make programs fast to type and easy to read (as many programs would fit on a single screen).

I really like the look of Kona in particular and am wanting to run it in Termux on Android. I tried building it in Termux but was not successful as `arm-linux-androideabi-gcc` isn't available in Termux (as far as I can tell). Compiling C code is outside my wheelhouse, unfortunately.

Has anyone managed to get Kona running in Termux or has an idea of how to do it?

Hi Adam,

On Termux:

pkg install kona

should have you up and running (the executable is simply named "k").
