I looked at two sites today. The first was the Neighborhood Place of
Kona which is in the Old Industrial area. Cheap. $20 Avail Thurs or
Fri. No windows. Seats about 30+ in a room 15 x 25 or so. Folding
chairs old style.
I also looked at the outside of the Aloha Center. It's just up from
the Matsuyama on Kohanaiki. Second Story. Larger more comfortable
seats, View of Ocean. Cost is $50

Do you think you'd pay more? for a better location? And drive a few
miles?

One of the stores offered to pay the whole thing but wanted the
exclusive to have all our meetings as their store and would ...... "if
we're taking our "relationship" to the next level, we would also ask
for exclusivity. Meaning that Kona MacNet would become the sole host
for the group meetings. We'd also like to be recognized as such to the
group, and perhaps I could have about 10 minutes to chat with the
group at each meeting. In addition, we'd be giving away some cool SWAG
at the end of the meeting."..

Are we interested in that or keep alternating or find a new venue and
pay?

Thoughts please..

I'm thinking about putting up a birdhouse in my backyard. The price of cat food is getting way out of hand! ––Maxine {"Don't Worry, Be Crabby"}

Prefer not paying "more", of course ... & not to drive farther ...
I'm happy sticking closer to home ... {& are we talking about all mtgs or just Chris's visit as Subject line implies?} ...
... until we need a larger facility, that is!

I like the idea of sticking w/the pros at their store w/all the toys and temptations vs some mtg hall location. Personally, I enjoy & like both stores & staffs but believe Kona MacNet [one mile from me] has more knowledge & professional experience. Just regret their current store cannot handle much more growth in our numbers.  Is that why they are willing to become our sole host ELSEWHERE, as we grow?  But then we lose meeting at their Toy Store!
:-\

Are we interested in that
Yes, interested ... tho I cringe at shunning MacMadeEasy after all their hospitatility [MY sensitivity issue!]

or keep alternating
... enjoy alternating, too!

or find a new venue and
pay?
Hope we grow and can handle this "down the road" ...
Thanx, Bob, for your time & efforts thus far!
