Nice. The 32 bit version of k is also available.
I know the linux part works well. Have not tried the windows version.

To begin with, therefore, please download trial K from
<a href="http://cs.nyu.edu/cs/faculty/shasha/papers/k"> for a sun version</a>
and a pair of files for windows consisting of
<a href="http://cs.nyu.edu/cs/faculty/shasha/papers/k.exe">
k.exe</a>
and
<a href="http://cs.nyu.edu/cs/faculty/shasha/papers/k20.dll">
k20.dll </a>
and a
<a href="http://cs.nyu.edu/cs/faculty/shasha/papers/klinux"
linux version </a>.

In both cases, you will also need
<a href="http://cs.nyu.edu/cs/faculty/shasha/papers/db.kr">
db.kr </a>.

Actually, it's not optimal for comparison.
The capabilities of kona are modeled on k3.2
The 32-bit evaluation version (not for commercial use) available from cs.nyu.edu is k2.8
There are significant differences.
(I wonder if kx systems might allow us to make a  k3.2 evaluation copy available.)

I'm surprised to hear that the Windows version is not accessible.
Does the Linux version work?
It used to ... when I downloaded it years ago.

Hi, Tom,

   The windows version library is not accessible. You have to grand permissions.
