Aloha all,
I was a little premature in amking an announcement last month but now
it is true. The county council last night voted to BAN GMO COFFEE on
the Big Island of Hawaii. At least 100% Kona coffee is protected from
that scourge. I will add details in a separate post.
The harvest is still slow, the cherry is slow in ripening but we
expect a similar volume to last year.
Mahalo,

Aloha,
The pace of the harvest is finally picking up for us. Some of my
farmer friends though say they have not even picked yet. So it looks
like the harvest will go on into January or February this year for
some.

Aloha all,
The harvest has definitely accelerated. We picked everyday last week
and Monday. The drying decks are all full and we have some coffee out
on a tarp on the lawn. It all looks excellent!
