October 2009 Update

Aloha all,

October and the 2009 harvest has come in with a bang! All the high
heat has accelerated the ripening of the cherry so we are picking lick
crazy!

We have harvested about 20% more cherry to this point in time as
compared to the last harvest.

Aloha all,

Interesting morning. Just as it was getting light out I could see a
cloud bank moving in from off shore directly at us. It was so low that
it blotted out the coast line. As it moved on shore it was lifted
higher coming up the mountain. After about 30 minutes it began to
rain. The sun was rising behind us and in a short time we could see a
double rainbow directly in front of us.

Then as I sat at my desk I saw the end of another rainbow ending right
in front of me in the middle of our farm about 100 feet away.

Perhaps this portends good fortune or good luck. I have to go out and
see if it left a pot of gold down there.
