Genba Power

Dear all HR experts,

 

In Manufacturing industry, especially automotive, Genba is an Essential Activity in order to monitor the process to minimize waste and defect.

The term ‘Genba’ itself consist of

1. Genba (Real Place – You have to go to the work place),
2. Genbutsu (Real Thing – You have to see the thing),
3. Genjitsu (Real Fact – You have to analyze, what’s the problem compare to standard).

 

For further explanation, please refer to Toyota Way book, especially in Toyota Production System section.

 

As a business partner, HR has to provide good development tools, either training, general checklist, SOP, etc.

Is there anyone here who has and will to share anything related to “How to generate Genba Power’ to increase line productivity?

I really appreciate for your comment and advice regarding to this matter.
