It stands near Poovanam inside the forest. The place is around one km upward from Iruthodu. Though I too have seen the tree, its grandeur was not noticed. It came to attention, only when the students of Govt. Ayurveda college, Tvpm posted the picture in net. They took the photograph while they camped at SNUPS last year for a medical camp.
