We warmly extend our invitation for The Desi Dhan O' Beej Utsav that brings together Organic Small 

Farmers from across East India to display and offer a whole assortment of organic chemical free, wholesome, nutritious and tasty food for our tables.. 100+ Varieties of rice, millets, forest foods, will be available for sale and display  

Date: 2nd & 3rd May

Time: 11 am to 6 pm

Venue: Seva Kendra, Entally, Kolkata.

The Events

2nd May

·         Exhibition, sale and organic café : 11 AM to 7 PM

·         Inauguration of the fair : 10 to 10:30 AM

·         Kisan Panchayet – an interactive group discussion with the farmers on developing a charter of demand for small holders : 10:30 Am – 1:00 PM

·         Way Forward 15:00 – 17:00 PM

§  Presentation from the group discussion and presenting the charter of demand

§  Comments from the Honorable Ministers and guests

3^rd May

·         Exhibition, sale and organic café : 11 AM to 7 PM

·         Workshop on urban gardening: 11:00 AM 13:00 PM

·         Producer-Consumer interaction: 14:00-16:00 PM

·         Workshop for the consumer - Know your food: 16:00-18:00 PM
