"A Greater Danger lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short, but in setting it too low to achieve the mark because it's the only path that can salvage Mother Earth as we know her before it's too late."

Hi All

While the world is experiencing increasingly the affects of Climate Change, World Leaders are still negotiating targets, what is reasonable, what is possible, what is agreeable to all. Coal and fossil fuel is still on the discussion table, while Philippines struggles to recovers from Typhoon Haiyan.

I have been a part of a few COPs and sharing a film from Durban that I put together to share my disappointments from this hollow politics, and hope from the youth, activists, entrepreneurs and communities fighting the impacts of climate change!

Idealists Vs Realists questions the conventional, paralytic thinking by World Leaders and Negotiators at COPs, and reinstates that idealism is the only realistic path to save life on Earth as we know it. The film explores the perspectives of 3 people at COP 17, Durban - a indigenous activist, a politician and a solar entrepreneur - with the back drop of Occupy COP 17 movement with young people urging leaders to have Just, Equitable and Legally Binding Targets.

With - Pablo Salon (Bolivian Ambassador), Tom Goldtooth (Indigenous Environment Network) and Harish Hande (SELCO Solar)

I look forward to your thoughts on the film, your expectations from this current COP, and your hopes from our collective youth movement in salvaging our race & life on Earth as we know it.
