PHP 5 + ORACLE 8.1.7

Guru2 di sini mungkin ada yg bs bantu koneksi php5 ke database oracle versi 8.1.7. Terus terang sy sudah menyerah googling2..
Padahal oci8,oracle,pdo_xxx, udah sy naikin ke phpinfo() ketemu.
Tp masih aja ga konek2
Mohon pencerahannya guru2..
Ataukah dr kohana sudah ada yg ngembangin pake orracle (yg versi 8)??

Wah kebetulan belum pernah bermain dgn oracle.

Kohana saat ini memang gak support oracle.
Alternatif lain bisa pake orm library lain seperti propel atau doctrine.

Kalau ga pake framework sm sekali ada yg bs kasih contoh koneksinya ?
Php 5 + oracle yg versi 8 lho
(Klo ke oracle 10g sy sudah bs tp dgn cara yg sama sy tdk bs ke oracle versi 8 )
