No rental charge setting & overdue fine generation

Hi there,
I have few questions. It will be very helpful for if I get the
answers.
In the default configuration, it charges $5 for every checkout. How
can i remove this charge?
It also doesn't generate fines on late check-in. i want to generate
late fine at check in time. is it possible?
does it require to run fine calculate cron manually ?
