i need to know how to update koha, i have read the readme but i cant
get it to work, it just says "MakeFile.pl" is not here or what
ever ... i know i need o find it but i cant get the terminal to go to
that folder / area .... please help

how do i access the control panel, it has update options and stuff, it
also had the ip it was running off of and stuff
i know absolutly nothing about ubuntu, and i also need to know how to
access phpmyadmin etc. thanks for your help :)

To update using makefile.pl, you need to use the download from koha-community.org.

To update using the Live CD, you just reinstall Koha and restore the database.

Details about phpmyadmin is in the readme file on the live cd desktop.

The "control panel" is in the system tabs. You might need to study Ubuntu a bit but most of it should be self-explanatory.
