Query on WorkItem level Entry,Exit Action

Hi,

Is there a way we can write our own component where we can have control over 'On Entry Action','On Exit Action'? 

I am aware its disabled in open source product and have to buy Redhat premium product for this. But for open source users, there has to be some way to make use of it, thats why asking, can we create our own component here? Some BPM products allow this.

 

I tried with wid but it has limited feature and these entry,exit action cant be managed there.

If there is any way we can create our own component then please share details.

This is necessary to reduce technical tasks in workflow which increase the readability.

OnEntry/OnExit were not originally supported, however they were
brought back and are available in Apache KIE 10.0.0
