Hi,

Any tips, examples, tutorials etc on using Kotlin model classes with the Kogito rules?

I don't want to write all the boilerplate code of Java and prefer the power of Kotlin.

But I already don't like that I have to use Jackson annotations in my models which doesn't seem to be necessary in Java.

Hi,
we aren't actively looking into supporting Kotlin but we have anecdotal evidence (other users' reports :)) that it is working. Main showstopper may be Gradle support, which is a work in progress. Other than that, you should be able to set up a Kotlin project. Please feel free to report issues you encounter in the process. Unfortunately I don't think we have any examples that we can share with you. I guess one may say that is an opportunity for you to close that gap :)

Hi,

Yes I can confirm. We use Kotlin just fine and use Maven because of issues with Gradle.

There seem to be some inconveniences as I mentioned in OP, but not a big deal.
