I'm trying to set up Kogito with my Spring Boot application, but it seems that there is no official Spring Boot starter available for Kogito in version 10.0.0. I understand that the recommended approach now treats Kogito as a backend microservice, but since I'm not interested in using Quarkus, are there any detailed instructions or best practices available for integrating Kogito 10.0.0 with Spring Boot?

Many thanks,
Michael

Hi!
Same here! I'm having a hard time trying to set up something up to date without the microservice approach (external constraint). So far, I using a mix of different packages to their latest version.
I would also appreciate getting practicle example for that as well.

Hi

I faced similar problems but the examples in https://github.com/apache/incubator-kie-kogito-examples  helped a lot. I  took their pom files and changed the version of the libraries to 10.0.0. Hope this helps.

Regards
Stefan

Stefan,

Thank you for the information, we sadly had to move to another solution, Flowable, perfect fit for our tech stack and approach, lots of documentation and support.

Hopefully the KIE ecosystem will mature shortly, it has lots of promise.

Many thanks,
Michael
