Hello, I've been noticing an increasing "latency" on the response time when editing data types on a DMN using the integrated VS CODE plugin, when there are a certain number of data types.

In my case I have a DMN file with only data types (no decision at all) that is always imported in the other DMN.  This "data types" file has 950 lines of code (when opened with text editor). In these data types there data structure pretty complex, and when I have to modify one of those data type (with 20 fields), after the "add button" is clicked i have to wait for a couple of seconds (some time more than 10 seconds) and the same when i click to confirm the insertion.  And this latency is growing as the file grows.

Hi Francisco,

thank you for reporting that, we are aware of this performance issue. We have a JIRA ticket to track it https://issues.redhat.com/browse/KOGITO-7364

Can I ask you if you noticed this performance issue with the latest version of our extension only? Were performances issues with the previous versions of the extension?

Thank you,

Yeser

I've been noticing the low performances from a couple of months.  I found no correlation with the version of the extension but with the size and complexity of my data types.
