Hey Kogito Team,

I am trying to create a Quarkus project using Kogito version 10.0.0 with the following command:

mvn io.quarkus:quarkus-maven-plugin:create -DprojectGroupId=org.acme -DprojectArtifactId=sample-kogito -DprojectVersion=1.0.0-SNAPSHOT -Dextensions=kogito-quarkus

It seems that the kogito-quarkus extension is not available. Could you please guide me on how to properly create a Quarkus project with Kogito 10.0.0?

Looking forward to your help.
Best regard,
Kishan Kumar

Unfortunately the close integration in the quarkus ecosystem is not in place, you can start a simple quarkus project and add dependencies manually... OR you can just use an example as a starting point.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your response!

I wanted to check if there are any plans to integrate Kogito more closely with the Quarkus ecosystem in future updates. Is there a roadmap or any upcoming developments in this regard?

Looking forward to your guidance.

Kishan,

I think eventually we might want to get closer integration, but I'd argue that this is probably post-graduation - as of now we should focus on addressing issues related to graduation.

There's also the fact that Quarkus is curated by Red Hat (and soon IBM), so today you can already see Quarkus integrated with the Drools component.
