I’ve been experimenting with different ways to stay consistent with my habits lately, and reminders are something I can’t quite figure out. At first, I set up notifications for everything — workouts, journaling, even drinking water — and it felt like I was finally on track. But after a couple of weeks, it started to feel overwhelming, like my phone was constantly buzzing and pulling me out of whatever I was doing. Now I’m wondering if reminders actually help build discipline or just create dependence. Has anyone found a balance where notifications support your goals without becoming a distraction?
