Worthy Brother Knights and Ladies.

Our Grand Knight Tom Krivchenia urgently needs our prayers. Just as Tom and Lady Margaret were starting their vacation on Sanibel Island , Tom suffered a massive heart attack. Brother Tom collapsed, was unconscious, and had to be revived twice. He was rushed to Sanibel Medical Center and had emergency open heart surgery. Tom is still unconscious in recovery. Please pray for our dear Brother and Worthy Grand Knight Tom.

Venerable Fr. Michael J. McGivney, you were truly an apostle of Christian family life, leading all to the generous service of their neighbor. You founded the Knights of Columbus to strengthen the faith and protect Catholic men and their families. You were an apostle of lay spirituality, caring for the needy and the outcast, while you yourself endured a life-long battle with poor health. 

We humbly beseech you now to intercede for our dear brother, Tom Krivchenia, in his recovery from the heart attack and surgery. You trusted and empowered lay people in leadership positions in a universal call to holiness, and Tom has been one of those loyal stewards and now needs your help. Please help Tom, his loving wife Margaret, and the Krivchenia family by asking God to to heal Tom's heart and completely restore Tom to fullness of health. 

God, our Father, through the intercession of Fr. Michael J. McGivney, grant the favor we now present. Through Christ our Lord. Amen

WGK Tom is still in critical condition. He has received the anointing of the sick. He needs to wake up and be responsive.

SK Edward Amador sent an urgent request to pray for his mother-in-law.

My mother-in-law, Tania Carnet is currently undergoing a 4-hour high risk operation on her large intestine and colon. This is hopefully the root cause of her past issues battling major diverticulitis.

Our family is in Miami at the Baptist Hospital in Coral Gables.

Please pray for the surgeon and for all to go well and a speedy recovery.

God our Father, source of all healing, see Lady Tania Carnet safely through her surgery. Please guide the surgeons, nurses and all those who will attend to Tania throughout the delicate procedure. During the time of recovery, please continue to grant Tania strength and healing. Ease any of her discomfort; calm her anxieties and bless her with all the graces that she needs. Comfort Tania, Violet, Ed, Sam and all the Carnet and Amador families with knowing that you are with them throughout this ordeal. We ask this through the intercession of our Heavenly Mother, the ever Virgin Mary and Queen of the Knights. Amen.
