Gratitude and Thankfulness for all Your Prayers

Dear Brother Knights and Ladies,

As you know , Margaret and I have been through an extremely harrowing time in our lives.  It is true that last Sunday at 4:13am in the morning of Divine Mercy Sunday, I suffered a cardiac arrest in the bedroom of our condo in Sanibel.  It was the first day of our vacation.  I was without a heartbeat for 5 minutes until the paramedics were able to revive me through electrical shocks.  Margaret reached out to all of you, asking for prayers as I entered surgery and, in the hours, following it.  The results were miraculous!  I am alive today because God in his infinite mercy answered your prayers.  I am so humbled and grateful for your continuous prayers and kind words of encouragement.  I am recovering slowly, and I look forward to thanking all of you in person in the near future.  Margaret and I can never thank you enough.  Prayers are so powerful, and God listened and has given me an opportunity to serve him more and more in the days to come.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  We love you all.
