Worthy Brother Knights and Ladies.

SK Ken Seguin has requested our prayers for Lady Zoe Dufour. 

Brother Knight and wonderful friend Bob Dufour requests prayers for his beloved wife of over 60 years, Zoe. Zoe had an aneurism attack on Sunday and 3 1/2-hour emergency surgery at Morton Plant Hospital. Doctors say it is day to day for now. Please keep Zoe and Bob in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you so much!

Venerable Fr. Michael J. McGivney, you were truly an apostle of Christian family life, leading all to the generous service of their neighbor. You founded the Knights of Columbus to strengthen the faith and protect Catholic men and their families. You were an apostle of lay spirituality, caring for the needy and the outcast, while you yourself endured a life-long battle with poor health. We humbly beseech you now to intercede for our dear sister, Zoe Dufour, in her recovery from surgery. You trusted and empowered lay people in leadership positions in a universal call to holiness, and Zoe has been one of those loyal stewards and now needs your help. Please help Zoe, her loving husband Bob, and the Dufour family by asking God to heal the aneurism and completely restore Zoe to fullness of health. God, our Father, through the intercession of Fr. Michael J. McGivney, grant the favor we now present. Through Christ our Lord. Amen

SK Ken Seguin passed on this sad news this morning.

Sad news to report this morning, Zoe Dufour, passed away last night after a very brief stay at Suncoast Hospice on Tampa Rd.  She was always so sweet, kind and compassionate to everyone! Certainly, an Angel on earth. Bob and Zoe were Hospitality Ministers for years at the East Side Door. 

Bob and Zoe were married for 65 years and almost 66 years at the end of this month. The loved each other so much and were inseparable. Their outgoing, positive personality, and love of Jesus Christ had such a positive impact on our parishioners and all they came in contact with! 

Please keep Bob and their three children in your prayers. Thank you!

Our God full of mercy who dwells on high, grant our dear friend Zoe Dufour perfect rest in Your Divine Presence. We, her family and friends, pray for the elevation of her soul. May her resting place be with the Angels in Heaven. Master of mercy care for Zoe under the protection of Your wings for all time and bind her soul in the bond of everlasting life. SK JK Sujanani has requested our prayers for his brother Gobind.

I am asking a prayer request for my dear brother Gobind. My Brother Gobind suffers from a mild case of Dementia. He recently suffered from a fall in his bathroom. Gobind was taken to the hospital and is being treated for fractured elbow and fractured knee. He is now in a wheelchair and will be wheelchair bound for a while. Thanks for the kind prayers from our Brother Knights

O Lord Jesus Christ our God, You patiently endured the scourging and wounding of Your sacred body, that You may save the souls and bodies of your people. Look now graciously on your injured servant Gobind. Grant him the strength to patiently bear the recovery process. Bless the medical staff and all the means which will be used to restore him to health. SK JK Sujanani has requested our prayers for a close friend, Maurice Chin.

I need Prayers for a dear friend. His name is Maurice Chin. Maurice lives in Kingston and St Andrew Jamaica. Maurice had throat cancer some years ago, received treatment, and the cancer went into remission. Recently he developed soreness of the throat that would not get better. His doctors immediately asked for a biopsy, which was performed yesterday morning. His family and my family are praying the cancer is not occurring again in Maurice.

St. Peregrine, whom Holy Mother Church has declared Patron of those suffering from Cancer, we confidently turn to you for help for Maurice Chin's present sickness. We beg your kind intercession. Ask God to relieve Maurice of this sickness and may the biopsy be benign if it be his Holy Will. Please plead with the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Sorrows, whom you loved so tenderly and in union with whom you have suffered the pains of Cancer, that she may assist Maurice with her powerful prayers and loving consolation. Betty requested Prayers after she fell yesterday in the courtyard. I was at the doctors this morning for x-rays, and they put a metal finger splint on it for now, and I'm waiting for the results of the x-rays.  I also have a procedure tomorrow morning for an endo.  

Lord, look upon Betty D'Amelio with eyes of mercy, may your healing hand rest upon her, may your life-giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring Betty to wholeness for service in your Kingdom.  Please grant strength and peace to the family at this difficult time.  We ask this through Your Son, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

SK John Papa has requested our prayers for his brother-in-law.

Brothers I am requesting prayers for my brother-in-law, Jim Slattery.

He was admitted to the VA Hospital in Roxbury MA with serious Flu and

COPD Issues.

Jim was a Sgt in the Army during Viet Nam and was awarded the Purple

Heart and Bronze Star.  He still carries the bullet in his body.

Please keep Jim in your prayers.

My daughter's fiancé Kenny suffered 1st and possible 2nd degree burns to his right hand and face last night from a bon fire accident at his family's property.  He is currently admitted to Orlando Regional Hospital for treatment and observation.  Please pray for his recovery as well as for my daughter Elizabeth as they go through this ordeal. They are preparing for a May wedding.

Loving God, we lift our intentions for healing, courage, and strength for Kenny who has suffered serious burns. Please send your comforting and consoling Holy Spirit to be with Kenny in this time of great trial and suffering. Grant Kenny and Elizabeth all the graces needed to see them through this ordeal. We ask this through the intercession of our Heavenly Mother, the ever Virgin Mary and Queen of the Knights. Amen.

SK JK Sujanani has requested our prayers for his sister-in-law, Pushpa Sujanani.

Kindly ask our Brother Knights to Pray for my sister-in-law, who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.  She went to Moffitt Cancer Center yesterday for a mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy. Today they will be performing an MRI.

My sister-in-law's name is Pushpa Sujanani.

Our Regional Administrator, SK John Papa, needs our prayers. I received the following message from SK Paul Harvey last night.

I have been in communication for most of today with our Regional Administrator, John Papa. He has been sick for several days. He had gone to the doctor on Tuesday & has had a terrible cough, aches, pains. He was told he had a viral infection and not Covid, flu, or RSV. He was feeling so bad that he went to Mease Countryside. He has gone through quite the battery of tests (blood, EKG, X-ray, CT of lungs). He has been diagnosed with pneumonia. They have discharged him home and will be with his family who will watch him for improvement. Please ask all Knights to pray for him as he tries to get his health back to normal. John asked me to assist in getting his condition out to all Knights.

Please keep Don in your prayers as he battles with this illness. As he has not been able to participate in our events of late, I am sure he would enjoy hearing from his brothers.
