If you are looking for the ghostly appearance the kids take on, look Here. Looking for the character who shares a common name with the ghost appearance? Look Here. If you're looking for 1987 MCI, look Here. If you're looking for the first victim of William Afton, predating the MCI, look Here. If you're looking for the character with a similar name to Cassidy, look Here. For their counterparts in FNAF: The Movie, look Here.

The 5 Missing Children, often referred to as the MCI Victims, are the children that William Afton murdered during the Missing Children's Incident and the centerpiece of the entire story of Five Nights at Freddy's. Their names are Gabriel, Jeremy, Susie, Fritz, and Cassidy.

At Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, William Afton dressed up as the Yellow Rabbit to gain children's trust and invited them to follow him to the safe room. Inside, he murdered them and stuffed the bodies into the restaurant's animatronics. The children's spirits would go on to possess the animatronic crew of Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Foxy, Chica, and Golden Freddy. Coming to life at night and seeking revenge, Freddy & his band roam the restaurant to hunt down its night guards, whom they assume is their murderer.

Two local children were reportedly lured into a back room during the late hours of operation at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza on the night of June 26th. While video survelience identified the man responsible and led to his capture the following morning, the children themselves were never found and are presumed dead, Police think the suspect dressed up as a company mascot to earn the children's trust."

Five children are now linked to the incident at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where a man dressed as a cartoon mascot lured them into a back room. While the suspect has been charged, the bodies themselves were never found. Freddy Fazbear's Pizza has been fighting an uphill battle ever since to convince families to return to the pizzeria, "It's a tragedy."

The Marionette, possessed by Purple Guy's first victim Charlotte Emily (who is stated to have been killed before the Missing Children), sought to protect the Children and give them a second chance at life, so as to have vengeance on their common killer.

in the "Give Gifts Give Life" minigame in Five Nights at Freddy's 2, the Puppet is seen giving life to the animatronics by "giving gifts" to the dead children. As a result of this, the children's restless souls would become attached to the core animatronic crew of Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Foxy, Chica, and Golden Freddy. Coming to life at night and seeking revenge, Freddy and his band roam the restaurant to hunt down its night guards, whom the tortured Missing Children assume is the man that murdered them. They are, however, friendly towards children, as shown in the movie and the SAVETHEM minigame in Five Nights at Freddy's 2, where Withered Freddy seeks to save any potential new victims of the Purple Guy.

Throughout the series, both in the novels and the movie, but not the games, the Missing Children are shown to always be strongly influenced by drawings, being frequently manipulated and fooled by William, who would use drawings (depicting his Yellow Rabbit persona as the Children's friend and protector) to alter their memories.

Years after the events of FNaF 1, as shown in the Follow Me minigames, Afton would return to the abandoned, delapidated Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and destroy all the animatronics by luring them to the safe room one by one, just like when he had murdered them many years before. His true intentions for doing so are unknown as the initial explanation was because of paranoia, but a theorized reason that he would take their dismantled endoskeletons out of the costumes is to melt them down to fuse the haunted metal with the Funtime animatronics, in an effort to give them a sort of life.

However, either during the same night or returning, the Purple Guy would find himself cornered by the ghosts of the Five Children, no longer bound by their animatronic programming restrictions. He would then be chased by (presumably) the ghost of Cassidy around the room, with Gabriel & the other three ghosts blocking the exit. To avoid the Children's wrath, William promptly put on his iconic Spring-Bonnie springlock suit. His exact reasoning for escaping and trying to hide from the Children in such a strange way is unconfirmed. Afton may have intended to trick the spirits, as the novels and the movie reveal he had manipulated his victims' memories into seeing the Yellow Rabbit as their friend, but another possibility is that he tried to frighten them, as the springlock suit was the same one he wore during their deaths.

When this seemed to work, as the ghosts of the Missing Children stopped pursuing him, Purple Guy began to laugh mockingly and victoriusly. His erratic movements and the leaky roof constantly dropping water droplets on him caused the springlocks in the suit to break lose, snapping into Afton's body from every direction, piercing his organs and crushing his bones. But, unbeknownst to the Missing Children, Afton would come back, a bloody undead abomination that housed his spirit in the Spring Bonnie suit, now known as Springtrap. He fully came to terms with his agonizing fate after the fire at Fazbear's Fright (as indicated by his voice lines in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator). Through this event, the Missing Children finally got their revenge on the murderer by making him suffer a fate similar to what he had put the Children through, and disappeared, satisfied. Later, at some point following the events of the Follow Me minigames, either at the end of FNaF 3 or Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, the Missing Children were set free from the animatronics and finally allowed to rest in peace, due to Charlotte Emily giving them their Happiest Day.

However, despite being freed alongside the others, one of the spirits (presumably Cassidy) refused to move on and stayed behind due to their immense hatred for the Purple Guy. In spite of Old Man Consequences' attempts to convince the Vengeful Spirit to "leave the demon to his demons" and rest their own soul, they chose to keep and torture their killer in his own personal hell in the form of Ultimate Custom Night, an endless purgatory implied to take place inside of William's mind. In the Fazbear Frights books, the role of torturing Purple Guy is given to Andrew, who may be a book stand-in for Cassidy or an entirely separate character. It is currently unknown whether or not Andrew is canon to the games' continuity, and if so, whether he is the Vengeful Spirit instead of Cassidy.

A recently accepted theory is that, after the events of the fourth Follow Me minigame in FNaF 3, the dismantled endoskeletons of the Classic animatronics were taken by Afton and melted down into haunted metal to breathe life into the Funtime animatronics, who would all later end up as Molten Freddy, positing that the Children remained central to the narrative until the very end of the Clickteam era of FNaF in UCN.

In the Graphic novel, Gabriel is shown with darker skin, a yellow, long sleeve shirt with an orange collar, and bushy brown hair. He is taller than Susie, Fritz and Cassidy and the same height as Michael Brooks.

In Help Wanted's Pizza Party level, a VR recreation of Gabriel's murder, Glitchtrap is believed to represent William while the player represents Gabriel. In this scenario, William dresses up as the Yellow Rabbit, then approaches and greets Gabriel while the latter is celebrating his birthday, presumably alone and sad (as all of the Missing Children are implied to have been upset by something prior to being befriended by the Purple Man). Gabriel is then invited to follow the Yellow Rabbit to a pizza party, while being tested for trust by the latter. Upon being lead into the safe room, Gabriel is greeted by birthday cake and pizza, as well as (presumably) the already dead Suzie and Jeremy, fully stuffed into Chica and Bonnie. The Yellow Rabbit then waves at the boy energetically and invites him to follow him one step further, into the dark. Afterwards, the level skips to Gabriel already murdered and stuffed in Freddy, his spirit trapped and forced to helplessly watch as Freddy is performing his song, and the Purple Guy, still dressed as the Yellow Rabbit, is dancing gleefully and mockingly among the crowd.

William Afton, within what is implied to be the Spring Bonnie suit, had approached the five children - Susie, Fritz, Gabriel, Cassidy, and Michael - and had lured them into a back room. Back there, he had slaughtered all five, before stuffing them into the mascot suits.

Gabriel is an intelligent and polite, docile boy. He is, however, quite an eccentric and can get annoyed rather easily depending on which topic is brought up. He tends to speak in a slow, monotone voice, especially when describing The Missing Children's Incident.

Within the Games and Books, Susie is shown as a young girl with blonde hair, alongside bright blue eyes. In her hair is a red bow, while she appears wearing a purpleish-magenta dress, with a white band separating the top and bottom halves and short sleeves. Her shirt has a white collar, complete with a white bowtie on the front. She also has black shoes with white socks. Based on her artwork in Pizzeria Simulator, her nose and mouth appear smaller than average, although this detail is not seen in the Fourth Closet.

Although her appearance is not mentioned in full detail, she is described to have light brown hair that flowed around her face, alongside brown eyes that were wide open. She had scar at the top of her forehead hidden under her hair and pierced ears with "pretty-colored" earrings. She is also described as having a smaller mouth and nose, similar to in the games and was called cute. She wore a magenta sweater with pink stripes and jeans with rhinestones during her death.

In the unused story artwork, she was given yet another different design. In this artwork, she was shown with blonde hair like the games, but features her with long braids, and a light blue shirt with darker blue pants. She is also shown wearing red shoes.
