Hi Javier,
Can you send us the exact error you're seeing? The form looks fine to me from the screenshot. It would be best though if you could send the actual XLS file.

One guess would be your line 5 in the spreadsheet, which is blank. Note that you can create repeating groups in the formbuilder, there is no need to export to XLS. Just create your group of questions and tick the repeat option in the group's settings.

Best regards,
Tino

thanks
thank you very much
I checked what you recommend to create groups and works very well

but now I see that the group enter the fields well, but I can not see them on the page where all the data
where I see row by row

is possible to do this, see reference in each family all fields

example

family: very poor
children 3
Name: carlos
Age: 2
registration: 22222222

Name: luis
Age: 4
registro.33333

name. Xavier
age. 6
registration. 44444

etc...

Hi Javier,

I think you are saying that you cannot see the data from repeat questions using the KoboToolbox web-based interface ("View data in table" option), right?

I don't know if it's possible to do this with the interface. Maybe someone else can chime in.

However, the downloaded data will have this information. If you download as xls, there is a sheet whose name is the name of the repeat group. You can use _parent_index column to link to the _index in the first sheet (which has the main questionnaire data).

Best,
Gabriel

Hi Javier and Gabriel,
The view and analyze features in the interface are not yet built to extend to repeat groups. So the best and only way to analyze them is to download the dataset to Excel and then use the lookup option as Gabriel described.

Best,
Tino

Hi Javier,
If I understand you correctly you're asking if it's possible to convert the text that a user enters to text response questions to uppercase letters? If yes, this is not a built-in function or something that can be done through the underlying form language. But converting strings into uppercase characters can easily be done in Excel with the UPPER() formula function.

Best,
Tino

Hi Javier,

You can do that with the string-length() function in the manual validation field, see the example below:
