a few comments while playing around with KoBo Toolbox

Off-line KoBo Form Designer

I'm trying this out on Ubuntu 12.04 and Chromium browser but gets an empty screen instead.  It works on Firefox but I find this browser clunky. What's wrong with my Chromium and how do I make it work on this?

Further inspection shows that I get these errors:

Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL file:///home/x/KoBoFormBuilder/war/KoBoFormDesigner.html from frame with URL file:///home/x/KoBoFormBuilder/war/KoBoFormDesigner/309E2D59EC04D4BA59DD498422D61DBA.cache.html. Domains, protocols and ports must match.

I thought it was a webkit issue - tried (and failed) on Arora, Epiphany browser, Midori - but it didn't work on Opera, too.

KoBo Collect

The default server URL doesn't work. Instead I used ODK's server: http://opendatakit.appspot.com

This might not not be a common use case but would it not be helpful to have an option to display additional information about any form available for download, other than the name and date?
