A MESSAGE FROM HOG RANCH RADIO |

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽! ♫
Since 1985, a primary mission for the Hog has been to share the sounds of Camp Strawberry back to Camp Strawberry. In that spirit, here's a new way for 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 camp to get involved... On the radio, between the conclusion of the Main Stage and the beginning of the Cafe, we will feature sounds from camps throughout Strawberry. Jams, stories, jokes, and helpful tips, all created and recorded 𝘣𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶. Here's how to do it: many of us have portable digital recorders. (Even our phones can make a recording in a jam!)
First, get together with some friends and make a plan. Think of something to sing, play, do, or say, that is uniquily from your camp.
Second, use that portable recorder... Pick like crazy! Have your zany relative tell a story! Go ahead and add a station ID, a joke, or a helpful tip! Feel free to introduce your camp characters to the world, via the magic of the Hog.
Once you've got your Camp Jam recorded, bring it by the Hog studio on the Music Meadow. We'll quickly copy the file into our player, and later that evening, you'll be on the radio! |

We are excited about a new all star band joining us at Spring Strawberry...Hawktail! Haas Kowert Tice recently brought on mandolinist Dominick Leslie to form Hawktail. Music fans will recognize them from their various other outfits such as, Punch Brothers, David Rawlings, Crooked Still, and A Prairie Home Companion. Please enjoy this lovely instrumental offering to get a taste of what is in store for the Strawberry audience this Spring, when Hawktail takes the stage. |
