Folks -
By now you should have your voting materials. If you have not received them, go to iwillvote.com or call the voter hotline: (866) 687-8683
If you don't trust the mail (I don't) you can deposit your ballot in one of the secure dropboxes in your county. Go to your county's website to locate dropboxes.
If you do use the mail, remember that your ballot must be postmarked by Nov. 3 or earlier.
In addition, there are Vote Centers open from Oct. 31 to November 3. The hours are 9 to 5 on Oct. 31 – Nov. 2, and 9 to 8pm on November 3. Again, go to your county's website to locate dropboxes.
It was very comforting to see that my own ballot was received and will be counted.
This election is very important. Please vote. If you vote early (you can do it NOW) you increase the chances of the election results being available more quickly.
·If you would like to know who is financing the propositions, go to votersedge.org This site will also show you how much money candidates have raised and from whom.
