Hello all,

I am using a GIRA USB interface 108000 and want to know if this is accessible by knxd? I have to either cross-compile for mips (AVM Fritzbox 7490) or have to use a raspi 1b. I am new to knxd. So I just want to know if this is currently possible or if save the time for other things.

If it doesn't require you to install any software on Windows (check their documentation), it's (most probably) going to work.

Hi Matthias,

thanks for your immediate response. No Windows software needed. It worked with eibd before. My knowledge about cpp compiling is very basic. But I will give it a try to cross compile.

Well, I do not know of any device that works with eibd but not with knxd, nor any reason why such a device would exist, so …

My 5ct: these old KNX-USB interfaces don't work very reliable, neither
with eibd nor with knxd - as they are simply broken by design..
It works somehow, yes, but you won't have long-term fun with it.

If you want to save time and worries get a TP-UART based one (or KNXnet/IP)
