Invitation to AfriMakers Ghana MakerFaire Event

The AfriMakers Maker Faire event takes off on 21st of March 2014 at the Ghana Technology University College campus at Tesano at 10:00am. This event is organized by Afrimakers, a global program that empowers local youth to think about practical solutions to the problems in their local communities and use hands-on science, technology and crafting to work on them.

A box of tools containing Arduinos, Raspberry Pi, and various sensors has be given to this team to facilitate initial prototyping. You may find some examples of projects developed in the other 6 African countries that are part of this community here: www.makehub.io/#/featured
The same team has trained and worked with children (6-16) and thought them how to build similar prototypes during interactive and hands-on workshops.
