As I have done before, I am forwarding this to all of you as a reminder to the needs of our Brothers and Sisters in Halifax, Canada.

Yes, some of you have helped by sending money, forwarding the emails to others, and so on, but now we have another great opportunity to give it all we got and push all together to make this project a success!

Trust me, there is something we can all do to contribute.  If you cant give even a dollar to this cause the next thing you should do is find at least 5 people who can.  Then search for more reward from Allah by sending this email to your entire list of friends, EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT MUSLIM!!

I remember my father telling me many times when his boss (a non-Muslim, may Allah guide him and grant him Jannatul Firdaus for his good efforts) used to do massive steel jobs for the Muslim community and not charge them a penny because he said "if it is for the community then I will donate this God's sake!"

Subhaan Allah!!  So beautiful!!  May Allah make us all think and act along those lines, and grant us the best of this life as well as the hereafter!

Asalamuilkum dear all. The wolf is here! May 1st is it! The time for asking nicely has passed , it is time to come forward. What I have learned over the past year is that , we Muslims love the Dunya- Prophet Muhammad ( s.a.w) stated that he does not fear for us poverty but that he fears for us Dunya , as it destroyed the people before so shall it destroy us.

If you ask me-- are you frustrated , answer --YES!!!  Why is it that we can spend thousands on vacations but give a few dollars to necessary projects? Why is it that we spend hundreds on clothing but a few dollars on helping the youth? THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH US!

You might also think that maybe this is not the way to ask people to donate -- why do you think like that ? When something is necessary , what way shall I say it?  People only forward " cute" emails, nice pictures but when it comes to real work, the email dies in your computer, at times unread. Some of you do not even watch the video , some of you do not even reply,and some just delete it. Please keep doing so because it is really helping our cause.

We the Muslims are the most marginalized people, there is almost a daily attack on our dignity, our values and we are in deep sleep. I for one will not sleep while insults are thrown at us. We will finish this project , InshAllah. You have to wake up now. Cut something from your spending and help us. Things to do : 1) watch the video  2) forward the video 3) donate by going to our site .

A strong message to very close friends and family : How long are you going to sit and watch?


I await your personal emails to know how much are you ready to give. The whole project is 2.1 mil , we have about 25%. May1st is the deadline to start. Please excuse me for being blunt, we are under tremendous pressure.  I await your emails and calls. Your brother in service of your Deen, Zia
