The role of analytics in solving business problems has increased manifold in recent years. Analytics and Big Data Technologies have become a competitive strategy for many companies. The Data Centre and Analytics Lab (DCAL) at IIM Bangalore provides a platform for Analytics and Big Data professionals to create and disseminate knowledge in the field of Analytics.
Symposium:
DCAL is organizing the Twelfth Symposium on Business Analytics and Intelligence on 15th & 16th July 2022. On day one of the Symposium, awarded papers of Batch-10 and Batch-11 will be presented along with presentations of the current Batch (Batch 12). This year’s symposium will see over all 13 different projects being presented detailing the problem statement, approach, outcome and impact. These projects have been undertaken in collaboration with various organizations on real-life problem/data.
This symposium is an apt platform to understand applications of Analytics and Big Data in various disciplines of management and how they are being used for solving domain and sector specific problems.
Workshop:
DCAL in collaboration with Analytics Society of India (ASI) has organized a Post-Symposium workshop on “Data Visualization and Story Telling” scheduled on 17th and 18th July 2022.
Book Launch:
Official book launch of “Machine Learning using R” and “Data Visualization”
Attendees can purchase copies of the book at a “once only” reduced price and get it personally signed
by the authors!
