So often we don't take the time

To be aware of what is treasured

Not wealth or material things

But how your days are measured.

 

Friendship is so special

It cannot be bought or sold

It is precious if it is brand new

Or priceless if it is old.

 

We never forget our dearest friends

And treat them with loving care

If you don't they will leave you

When you need them they won't be there.

 

Just want you to know today

How special you are to me

I'll always be here for you
