Beyond that, what answer do you think anyone can give? Maybe amazon has a record of your stops, that you could put in google maps to put together an estimate. Maybe you guess that your average is so many miles per day. If you have records of oil changes and other car maintenance, maybe you can figure out the average miles per month you drove before becoming an Amazon driver, and the average number of miles per month after, and the increase is probably your work miles.

I know on the flex app you can go to your earnings tab and see all the dates you worked and how much that trip paid. A good starting point would be to go through that and write down all the dates you worked. You may not be able to prove all your mileage, but at the very least you could put down the mileage from your house to the distribution center, since that is driven every time you do a route for them.

I need an earnings statement/summary as well as a debit card statement to account for expenses to do my taxes. Through the flex app I can see my earnings however I can only take screenshots. I keep track of my earnings on a spreadsheet but it would neat to have an official statement along with the expenses.

Most workers who shop for (or "pick") groceries are employees of Amazon or Whole Foods and remain at the facility to prepare orders. To meet the on-demand delivery needs of Prime Now, Amazon launched Amazon Flex,[42] a platform for gig workers, in 2015.[43] Drivers for the program use a proprietary app to complete deliveries.[44] The contractors do not wear Amazon branded apparel, and deliver using their personal vehicles.[45] Zur and Brown note the benefits to Amazon.com of this "flexible-capacity model".[46]

Michael, 44, started his side hustle as an Amazon Flex delivery partner in Melbourne to earn some extra income after he decided to reduce his hours as a supermarket checkout supervisor and enjoy a more flexible working life.

Generally speaking, Amazon flex employees make $18-$25 an hour but receive no health benefits. This is because you are classified as an independent contractor. Therefore, Amazon is not required to provide you with health insurance. However, there are many options for you to have both affordable health coverage and a flexible job as an Amazon flex driver.

Amazon flex employees are considered independent contractors and work on their own schedule to deliver packages for Amazon. Amazon flex employees are also known as amazon delivery drivers. The company advertises the job as a great way to earn extra money at your convenience. The Amazon Jobs website lists eligibility criteria as:

In most cases, independent contractors have much greater flexibility when it comes to their schedule, as boasted by Amazon as a perk of the job. 1099 employees will usually need to provide their own supplies for employment, an example being how you must have your own vehicle for this job. As an Independent worker, you are responsible for filing your own self-employment tax returns. If you earn over $600 in the respective tax year you will have the 1099-MISC tax form issued to you by Amazon.

For drivers who want to know exactly how much they saved in taxes in a given month, week, or down to the individual trip, try our mileage deduction and reimbursement calculator. Taken directly from existing tax forms, Amazon flex drivers can now be ahead of the curve by knowing exactly how much in tax deductions they earn as they work their shifts.
