Մակբայներ, որոնք ունեն 2 ձևեր և իմաստային տարբերություններ:

1) Late (ուշ) vs lately (վերջերս)

 - We came home late last night.

 - What have you been doing lately?

2) Near (մոտ) vs nearly (մոտավորապես; համարյա)

  - She lives quite near.

  - He crashed his car into a tree and nearly killed us all.

3) High (բարձր) vs highly (շատ)

 - The kite flew high in the sky.

 - He is a highly respected doctor.

4) Hard (դժվար) vs  (hardly հազիվ)

 - He is working hard these days. 

 - They hardly go anywhere now that they have children. 

5) Full (ճիշտ) vs fully (լիովին)

 - The soldier was hit full in the chest.

 - He fully recovered from his illness. 

6) Deep (խոր) vs deeply (շատ)

 - The treasure was buried deep underground.

 - He is deeply in love with her.
