i'm trying to set up thi emulator with taito type X/X2 games and NESiCAxLive. I follow a tutorial here =o7rRWh9ttDc and i tried to download a couple of games: Chaos Code and Power Instinct 5. In both the zip file, i found a .exe file. But there isn't a rom file...so the emulator doesn't detect these games...
I personally don't like RHLoader. I've managed to get most Type X games to run with no problem with typex_config/typex_loader. When that failed I went to TeknoParrot. Look for tutorials on how to get the specific game to run, sometimes there are executable patches to run on windows 10, higher resolution, etc. has several tutorials and patches. Even so there are a few stubborn type-x games I could not load, usually due to a Windows patch that breaks things. I swear I had King of Fighters Maximum Impact Regulation A working just fine, then suddenly it crashes on load, probably due to a windows patch.
Hi, unfortunately I had an issue with my C disk and I needed to reinstall the O.S..FOrtunately my folder wit Taito TypeXtra frontend and taito typeX/NesicaXlive games where in disk D. So I have reinstalled the needed files as showed here youtube.com/watch?time_continue=6&v=o7rRWh9ttDc and hereyoutube.com/watch?v=Y098rrjzp7M.Some games now works correctly, but other games are unplayable! As soon as I start them, they are in "fast forward" mode...I mean, the games is really really quick, it is impossible to stop it, I can0t enter coin and so on. Do you know how can I solve this issue? Befor to reinstall the O.S. all these games worked perfectly, I didn't changed my pc or any component...many thanks for your help!
I cant find a .exe/.bat file that will launch the game with out the ArcadePC Laoder. if i use launcher.exe i get i/o error. i tried different compatibly modes with no luck. the only way i can launch this game without the ArcadePC Loader is to drag the launcher.exe file to the typex_loader.exe file. not sure how i could duplicate that command to make it work in Gameex?
If i try to run using the game.exe file the game gets stuck on a loop on the first screen where it says loading on the bottom right of the screen. This game will work fine if i drag the game.exe file to the typex_loader.exe file. Again not sure how i could duplicate that command to make it work in Gameex?
Works outside Gameex if launch with the loader.bat file so i made a shortcut of this file. but if i try to launch through Gameex it will try to load but then kick me back to Gameex. This game also works outside Gameex if i drag the game.exe file to the typex_loader.exe file.
Will load outside Gameex with either the TGM3.exe or TGM3.bat files. I tried creating shortcuts of both and launching through Gameex but neither shortcut worked. Search for type x controls, ttx, joy2key etc... there are also some tutorials for setting those up here. There's also 2 other joystick remapper apps that keep getting mentioned I can't remember the name of. So maybe seaqrch for antimicro, joysticks, arcade sticks, control panel etc... see if you can dig up those threads.
I would stick with the 2012 edition of SSFIV and drop the extra character fix in the folder and run loader.bat. This version is much better if you are using an arcade stick or on a cab, the PC version is better with a gamepad.
