New inputs - Know how

Team,

During my recent visit to Chennai i got to meet up with few of our team members. There are few inputs shared with me to take this group to next level. To put this into place we need your feedback & few volunteers to support us.

1. Birthday wishes - On behalf of group we will send birthday card to each individual in the group during his birthday. Ilyas Mohamed to design this concept & share us the demo card for feedback.

2. Create a forum in What's app - All the team members will be added into this group & they in turn will use this forum for technical discussion and for the other reason as mentioned in point 3.

3. Incentive for referring a candidate to job - Similar to what our employers used to give as employee referal incentives we would try to implement this concept of rewarding the member who had successfully referred a candidate. Intention is to bring more focus within team members to help candidates get a job. And also to avoid issues like what we faced recently where a candidate turn down the offer without any reason which had created a bad impression with our employers.

To implement point no.3 we need a financial controller who would define the rate that need to be charged to candidate & distribute money to the individual who successfully referred & also maintain a data base for audits if any.

Though idea behind point no.3 was highlighted long time back we could not take it further as the earlier intention of getting a job to an individual was based on social support from our end. And u may ask why this thought process is changed? It is very simple. This would encourage everyone in the group to get involved & also ensure job seeker will not take it lightly after successful referral.

All the above points are just a suggesstion put forwarded to me. I would like to hear from each one of u before changing these ideas into reality. Pls feel free to reply to entire group so everyone of us will know where we stand.
