Can I tranfer my knols one at a time to Wordpress and does the automatic system transfer comments

What I would do personally, is go into the HTML mode on the Knol you want to transfer and cut and paste it directly into the HTML mode of Wordpress or any other website you can use.

 

The comments are not transferred.

In addition to what Johnson said, download your knols through Google
takeout to your desk top. In that download, comments are also there.
Go to its html and you can take the html of comments and paste it in
the html of Wordpress or Blogger.
Whether automatic transfer is transferring comments or not we can
check the posts of others who transferred.
This question can be asked in Knol Help topics also.
