Is ko: compose part of the knockoutjs library?

When I google for: knockout compose I get only results for durandaljs using the ko compose binding.

but I can not find any information about that on the official knockout site: http://knockoutjs.com/

Why is that or did I not search enough?

It sounds like it's part of durandaljs and not part of the official knockout.js
