Identification of the problem: The top of the initial page on the left CDU says: "A0-0, Eng Unknown". The left CDU is non-operational - you cannot switch pages, and you cannot enter data. The display is working, and showing nav airac cycle.

I uninstalled both the a320/1 and the a318/9. I removed any artefacts in the my documents folder as prescirbed in the thread you linked to. I also removed artefacts from the /p3d/aerosoft/fallback and the /p3d/simobjects/airplanes folders. I ran CCleaner and cleaned any broken entries in the registry (ran it twice to make sure). I ran p3d to the splash screen, exited, and rebooted my pc. I proceeded to reinstall a320/1. I rebooted my pc after the installer had finished. I ran the configurator. I entered the british airways standard livery, and checked the cdu. The start up page showed engine model. I then reloaded the aircraft from the vehicle select screen. The left cdu is now non-operational; On the top it says "A0-0", eng unknown".

Reinstallation usually is the very last step since it requires quite alot of work. Are there really no other troubleshooting steps before that..? I just did a fresh install of win10 and p3d just 2 weeks ago.

Same problem here. When I start FSX everything works just fine the first flight. But if I end the flight and then try to run another the left MCDU doesn't work. Have tried to change aircraft and switch back again, reset and nothing works except restarting FSX. Then it works again, for a single flight

I find that my MCDU1 works on a fresh FSX start every time (I happen to be starting from a save for the beginning of the step-by-step). If I end the flight and reload that save, MCDU1 is unresponsive. End flight, exit FSX, go back in, load save, MCDU1 is fine. Rinse, repeat. Same as P3D issue.

I have the new Aerosoft airbus a320/a321(not the extended version) I flew a route from Schiphol to Lisbon, I used a couple of airways including UN873. I used this route on the pmdg 737 and 777 and in both cases I type in this airway in "via" column, then the next waypoint and it all accepts it. I wanted to enter this route in the MCDU of the aerosoft airbus a320 and for some reason, I type in the first fix after the airport wich is "FERDI', then type in the airway into the "via" column, it accepts the UN873 airway, but when I want to enter the waypoint next to that airway the MCDU says "not allowed". What am I doing wrong? I want to use the airway UN873 to reach my first waypoint. On the PMDG 737 and 777 I dont have this issue

I tried the first one "ADUTO" but then the MCDU says not allowed. I also tried the fix "RONAX" but the MCDU didnt accept that either. I also tried some waypoints randomly that can be reached with UN873 but couldnt get the MCDU to accept any of them

The reason why you can not enter the waypoints on UN873 is actually quite simple. This airway is an one way airway. It is generally going to the north. You can not fly it towards the south to fly to LPPT.

Hi, I tried another route planner and now it works, only when the airways page is full, how can I go to like "the next page" I have the entire airways page filled with airways and waypoints but how can I go to the next page because the route was not completed and I had to enter some other waypoints. On the pmdg you press the next page button, on the airbus I tried the arrows but it didnt work

I ran into the exact same problem today. Route was EGPH DCT TLA UN601 DET UL6 DCT KOK EBBR I tried a half dozen times to figure out why I couldn't enter the UN601 away and exit at DET or any other waypoint south of TLA..... I guess it is a northbound airway also, because if I go to a waypoint on that airway, at the south end, I can exit on any of the waypoints north. Is the letter N in the airway number, what determines if it is a Northbound only? BTW, this is a Pro ATC flightplan.

So, the problem is that the STAR procedure does not get selected when i load the .flp file. This works in aerosoft airbus extended very well, but in the new aerosoft airbus A320, I get a flight discontinuity at the end of my route and the STAR wouldn't get selected.

I just got a new PC and re-installed my Aerosoft Airbus 318/19/20/21. I use Navigraph so I changed the configurator tool to reflect that. I created a flight with PFPX and exported it to the appropriate aerosoft/airbus/flight plans folder and fired up my sim. When I input the company route name I.E. KPHXKJFK01 into the MCDU I get the "please wait" message for about 1/2 second and then it shows the company route name in the LSK 1 slot but does not load other information. I cannot go to the second page of the init section. When I try to type in the from/to airports on the RSK 1 slot I.E. KPHX/KJFK I get sent to a different page which says KJFK, or whatever airport I place second, is not in the database. So I know there is a database issue of some sort but I cannot seem to locate anything on here which tells me how to fix the problem. I uninstalled and re-installed with cp restarts in between and still have the same issue. I tried to save the flight plan via Aivlasoft EFB and had the same results. I also tried not loading a flight plan and just typing in the from/to info and still get the not in database message. I didn't have this problem before so I have no idea how to fix it. I also tried to load one of the flight plans that was already in the flight plans folder upon install: Same result.

So after a lot of fishing around between a friend and I, we found the solution to the problem. For some reason my Navigraph FMS Data Manager was not installing the NavData "Navigraph" folder into the proper place. Here is the solution if you run into the same problem. Make sure you have updated your Airbus through your Navigraph Data Manager and then follow steps below.

1. Open your Navigraph Data Manager and select the "Addon Mappings" Tab on the top right side of the manager located next to the "Settings" tab. (Note): If you have not already done so, make sure you hit the "Scan" button so that your Data Manager locates your Airbus folders.

3. First: Select the folder icon next to the A318/A319....mapping. If you are experiencing the problem above you should see that folder mapped to C:/your FSX Main Directory/FSX Subfolder/aerosoft/Airbus_Fallback

4. Close that mapping out but remember where that directory was. Now open the mapping folder (by clicking the folder icon on the right) for the "Aerosoft Airbus X Extended..." this should be mapped to c:/your FSX Main/Your FSX Sub/aerosoft/Airbus X Extended. There should be one folder in here. "Navigraph". (This is of course assuming you have updated your Navigraph prior to all this)

As you haven't explicitly mentioned it: when you enter the name of the company route you said the plan will be displayed at LSK1, I guess as something like KPHXKJFK01. What happens if you press LSK1 ?

so your Navigraph Datamanger didn't exported the nav data into the A31x/A32x. Hm, never had that problem. You should definitely try to fix this within the Datamanager as you might run into the same problem after the next airac cycle update.

I have explored my Navigraph settings and cannot find a reason for this issue. The next cycle is set for the end of this month: When I update, I will try to remember to come in here and let everyone know if I ran into the problem again. One thing I did not try that might have worked, was re-installing the Navigraph Data Manager. I have never had this problem before either, but new PC often equals new problems :-)

That problem is weird really. Just out of curiosity, are you using a non-administrator account to log in? Can you check who is the owner of the FSX folder? I tried to reproduce it any way I can think of, but I do get error messages when the folder isn't created.
