Further Update re: October Class with Shirely Paden

Shirley Paden's October 27 class will be filling up and we wanted to
suggest that now's the time for sign up, if you wish to take the
class. Because of the thoroughness and quantity of important
materials, Shirley has asked that we keep the class to a maximum of 10
people so that she can insure one-to-one atttention and assistance.
We anticipate demand, so please sign up as soon as possible if you
wish to take it.
Here's a brief recap:
"The Finishing Touch" with Shirley Paden
Learn professional garment finishing and assembling techniques for
hand knitters at all levels in an easy, step-by-step format. In this
class, by working with miniature garments, students will be taught the
professional techniques involved in mastering the skills involved in
producing a perfectly finished, wearable garment. The techniques
covered include invisible seaming, attaching set-in and dropped
shoulder sleeves, stitch pick-ups for borders and necklines, several
types of buttonholes, weaving in yarn ends and blocking. Shirley
will be teaching from her not yet released, but greatly anticipated
book, "Knitwear Design Workshop: The Comprehensive Guide to
Handknits" You will get a pre-release peek at her new book, too!

Prerequisite: Basic Knitting Skills.
Note: Due to the 4 hour class length the fee is $75.00, not $60.00 as
originally stated. Please forgive the original typo. The 4 hour
length is necessary due to the individual attention, and depth of
information. We think you'll agree that this is an exceptional class
with an exceptional professional.
